12.1GW Module Bid Results Last Week: Lowest N-type Price at 0.77 RMB/W, Results for Beijing Energy’s 10GW and China Resources’ 2GW Modules Announced
Last week, the prices for N-type silicon materials, wafers, and cells continued to decline slightly. According to data from Solarbe, the average transaction price for N-type silicon materials fell to 41,800 RMB per ton, while granular silicon dropped to 35,300 RMB per ton, a week-on-week decrease of 5.4%. The price for P-type materials remained relatively stable. Solarbe anticipates that silicon material production in June will significantly decrease by 30,000 to 40,000 tons, a drop of over 20%, which should stabilize prices somewhat.
In the module segment, according to public data collected by Solarbe PV Network, a total of 12.1GW of modules were publicly bid last week. This included 10.03GW of N-type modules from Beijing Energy, 1.964GW of N-type modules from China Resources, and 100MW of modules from Guangdong Dashun Investment Management Co., Ltd. Last week’s bid prices for N-type modules ranged from 0.77 to 0.834 RMB/W, with an average price of 0.81 RMB/W.
