Polysilicon prices return to the rising track! Up to 270000 yuan / ton

On June 1, the silicon branch of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association announced the latest price of solar grade polysilicon.

The transaction price of single crystal re feeding was 266300-270000 yuan / ton, with an average of 266300 yuan / ton, a week on week increase of 1.99%

The transaction price of single crystal compact was RMB 261000-268000 / ton, with an average of RMB 264100 / ton, with a weekly increase of 2.09%

The transaction price of single crystal cauliflower was 2580-265000 yuan / ton, with an average of 261500 yuan / ton, with a weekly increase of 2.15%

Polysilicon prices returned to the rising track after holding steady for two consecutive weeks.

Sotheby PV network believes that polysilicon prices rose again this week, mainly due to the following reasons:

First, the supply of silicon material – silicon wafer is in short supply. In order to ensure the operating rate, some enterprises have traded at a relatively high price, raising the overall average price of polysilicon.

Second, the prices of batteries and components are rising, and the cost pressure is transmitted to the downstream. Although the price of silicon wafer has not increased, the price of battery and module has increased recently, which supports the upstream price.

Third, relevant policies and plans were announced to improve the PV industry chain’s expectation of future market scale. As a result, there is likely to be a phased and structural excess of silicon material. There are variables in the future supply and demand relationship. Relevant enterprises can further control the output and price of subsequent stages, and offer more confidence.

Since the end of April, the price of silicon material has increased by more than 10000 yuan / ton, and the production cost of each link has increased significantly. It can not be ruled out that there has been a new round of price increase in silicon wafers, batteries and components recently. According to preliminary calculation, the component price may rise by 0.02-0.03 yuan /w.
